Dora Chan

I’m a former Medical Researcher turned Holistic Stress Resilience Coach, Yoga Teacher Trainer, and Yoga Therapist-in-training. I’m also a Certified Integrative Restoration (iRest®) Yoga Nidra Meditation Teacher, Trauma-informed Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master Teacher, and Certified Holistic Nutritionist. Having experienced tremendous stress, anxiety and stress-related health conditions most of my life, I found healing through good nutrition and holistic stress management. Realizing that many share the same struggles, I am passionate about empowering people to move beyond daily stress and anxiety; restore health and energy; and live with purpose, peace and resiliency. 


I teach various styles of Yoga including Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, and Foundational Yoga, and have a strong focus on providing a trauma-informed and accessible Yoga practice for everyone, no matter their physical level or Yoga experience. I am also trained in iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditation, which is an effective and evidence-based practice to decrease stress, anxiety, insomnia, post traumatic stress and chronic pain, while supporting deep relaxation, increased resiliency, and inner peace and well-being. I offer both group classes and private one-on-one sessions for Yoga, Meditation, Reiki, and Spiritual & Life Coaching.


With my multidisciplinary background, I have a unique perspective in recognizing obvious and hidden sources of stress that show up in our lives, both physically and psychologically. It is important to me to offer guidance that is accessible, realistic and nurturing. I tailor to each individual’s unique journey to health and well-being and am dedicated to serving and supporting those in my community with trauma-informed practices of Yoga and Meditation.
