My relationship with yoga began over 30 years ago; evolving slowly & intuitively over time.
Classes with me are accessible to anyone interested in practicing yoga. Centered around Patanjali’s 8 Limbs of Yoga & The Yoga Sutras, students can expect creative, playful, & soulful offerings, honoring the history & roots of yoga.
I highly encourage intuitive movement, inviting curiosity to guide your practice. From a Trauma-Informed lens, my intention is to provide: accessible, inclusive, socially just, & diverse practice spaces, incorporating the use of Asana variations & props. I am especially passionate about guiding folks through: Yin, Restorative, Meditation, & Sound Immersion practices.
I earned my 200 hr YTT here in Santa Barbara, and my 300 hr YTT with Ignite Yoga & Wellness Institute under the mentorship of Susanna Barkataki, further deepening my understanding of yogic philosophy, Sanskrit, & the intersection of yoga and social justice.
The unceded Chumash land, known today as Santa Barbara, has been my home for over 24 years. I am honored to share space with my partner Ryan and daughter Avery, along with our 2 cats Dash & Dotty.
Currently, I’m a certified Accessible Yoga Teacher and am registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500, RPYT, & YACEP. I hold additional certifications in: Yin Yoga, Restorative, Meditation, & Sound Healing.
