  • Intro to trauma and yoga: Safe container, language, boundaries, abreactions
  • Nervous system: Stress, movement, and breath
  • History of Yoga: AUM, vedas, upanishads, classical yoga, book club
  • Anatomy: Tensegrity model, planes of movement
  • Asana, Pranayama, Restoratives, Workshop
  • Accountability in the Yoga Room

Session 2
Feb 28-March 2; March 7-9

  • iRest: Core principles, inner resources, heartfelt desire, intentions
  • Nervous system: regulation, yoga
  • The yogic body, book club
  • Asana, pranayama, restoratives, workshop
  • Embodied Anatomy
  • Accountability and racial justice

Session 3
March 28-30; April 4-6; April 11-13

  • iRest: Body and breath, emotions, thoughts and beliefs, joy, awareness
  • Yogic body and bandhas, book club
  • Introduction to Tantra (Kashmiri Shaivism)
