Jen Newman is an E-RYT 500 registered yoga teacher who has always had a connection to the exploration of movement and the expression of her heart. She has been studying movement and yoga for the majority of her life and has been teaching yoga since 2001.
She has taught a variety of aspects in the yoga realm including retreats, workshops, teacher clinics and teacher trainings. Her teaching style offers clear precise alignment that is playful as well as soulful. While teaching she incorporates her many years of not only studying yoga and the therapeutic benefits but also non-dualistic philosophy, modern dance and various other forms of movement studies.
Craniosacral Therapy and dinacharya (Ayurvedic daily routines) along with habit science are other offerings she has studied in order to support herself, family and others into balanced living.
Besides all the joy and in-depth awareness that is brought from practicing, studying, and teaching she also appreciates many other avenues that add to the richness of life. One, in particular, is being with her husband and daughter especially on the trails where she finds a great amount of peace and love.
