Diana Hill

Diana Hill, PhD is a clinical psychologist, international trainer and sought-out speaker on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and compassion. Host of  Wise Effort with Dr. Diana Hill, Diana has interviewed thought leaders and spiritual teachers such as Jack Kornfield, Rick Hanson, and Brother Phap Huu. Author of The Self-Compassion Daily Journal and ACT Daily Journal, Diana also blogs for Psychology Today, is a guest teacher at InsightLA Meditation Center, Blue Spirit Costa Rica, PESI Continuing Education, Praxis Continuing Education and Insight Timer Meditation.

Diana has over 20 years of experience of meditation and yoga. In 2000 she studied with Thich Nhat Hanh in Plum Village, France where she learned the foundations of Engaged Buddhism. Diana completed her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training at Eldorado Mountain Yoga Ashram and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at CU Boulder where she researched acceptance and mindfulness based interventions for eating disorders. Diana completed her pre-doctoral internship at UC Davis and post-doctoral fellowship at La Luna Center, Northern Colorado.

Diana integrates the science of mindfulness, acceptance and compassion-focused approaches into all aspects of her work, parenting, and daily life.
