One of the truest works of fiction I have ever read. When I first read this book I was soul-deep into the contemporary spiritual literature of Eckhart Tolle and Michael Singer. Spanning the drudgery of everyday life to merging with the universe, Gaiman has produced a perfect piece of spiritual literature on par with The Power of Now or Untethered Soul, except written with the skills of a master storyteller. — Al

Everything whispered inside me. Everything spoke to everything, and I knew it all.

The Untethered SoulClassic Text at the Yoga Soup Store
Michael Singer, The Untethered Soul

Here’s how it works at Yoga Soup, in our lives full of ordinary miracles:

When we first opened, E volunteered to wash our blankets and rags, and clean the studio. Often she’d be there into the early morning. Often she’d leave piles of books for us that would go straight to the library. In the middle of one pile, one day, for some reason, I noticed The Untethered Soul. Read it once. Twice. And again.. Xeroxed chapters to have around the studio. Tracked down the author at his ashram in Florida, Went to visit The Temple of the Universe . I was so enamored with the book that we ordered 500 copies once and it was the only item we sold at the studio. Back then not many people had heard of Michael Singer. Today he’s on the Oprah circuit, a NY-Times best selling author. The book he wrote way back then remains the same. Forget the author, and who people are making him out to be or not be. Read the book. It will help.

Palo SantoThe Many Gifts of Palo Santo—We have Bundles for you!
This special, aromatic wood is harvested from fallen tree branches in Ecuador. Related to Frankincense, Myrrh, and Copal, Palo Santo creates a smoke that is rich and sweet smelling. Traditionally used by the Incas for ceremony and healing, Palo Santo means “Holy Wood” in Spanish and is similar to white sage in it’s cleansing and purifying properties. It is said to clear “negative thought-prints” and simultaneously bring clarity and peace to the space and moment in which it burns. We notice it’s wonderful fragrance makes more room in our minds and hearts when we burn it.

To burn: Bring the flame of a candle, match or lighter to a stick of Palo Santo. Hold at about a 45-degree angle pointing the tip down toward the flame. Let it burn for 30 seconds to 1 minute and then blow out. Carry the stick about your workspace, home, car, bathroom or any space you would like to clear. When complete, put the stick in a fire – proof bowl. The glow will end on its own unless you blow on the ember which keeps the smoke going. Please always use caution when working with fire.
