Yanoula has over 20 years of yoga teaching experience. You can expect a fun, strong, and steady flow. The class will include music and a focus on core strength and intelligent movement.
Yanoula has taken multiple trainings and been certified on both coasts (E-RYT 500), and continues to evolve in her own practice and instruction.
She has taught a variety of flow-based classes, private lessons, and workshops including, “Vinyasa 2/3” and “Power Flow 2/3” or “Yoga for Active Beginners.” She has also taught and trained students in teacher trainings on subjects ranging from “the anatomy of a flow” to “safely building core strength.”
Her style has evolved with time — she values intelligent and inventive flows. She engages in safe suggestions and adjustments to optimize alignment and structural health whatever the class level. She likes for students to sweat, have fun, and safely push themselves past their physical limitations through a series of postures that flow into one another. Human anatomy and the way our knowledge of it can optimize our yoga practice greatly interests her. Come to class ready to enjoy!
