Through vinyasa style asana classes, Sarah explores the connection to our breath through both movement and stillness.
As a writer and intersectional environmentalist, Sarah brings deep intentionality around language, pacing, and presence, inviting curiosity as both playful exploration and reflective inquiry into how awareness shapes our relationship to ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
Originally from Hawai’i, she began her teaching journey with Moksha Yoga Amazónica in Peru, completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2023 with Emily Cordes, Danni Cullen, and Arbely Rubalcava. In 2025, Sarah went on to complete her 300-hour advanced teacher training with The Embodied Path taught by Jazmin Ment, Cynthia Abulafia, and Dora Chan here at Yoga Soup. She continues to deepen her understanding and practice of these teachings in her current role supporting the operations of Yoga Soup’s Yoga Teacher Trainings.
In addition to her study of yoga, Sarah is a climate activist, science communicator, and aspiring community organizer. She believes that through storytelling, art, movement, and yoga, we can help each other (re)connect to our essential nature. Forever a student, Sarah is now studying “the way of tea” and probably making her way through several books at once. But in the hours just after sunrise or just before sunset, you might find her seeking inspiration running through the mountains or gazing out across the sea.
