Sara Avant Stover has been a pioneering teacher of women’s yoga, meditation, and spirituality since 2001 and is the bestselling author of The Way of the Happy Woman: Living the Best Year of Your Life and The Book of SHE: Your Heroine’s Journey into the Heart of Feminine Power.
She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from Columbia University’s all-women’s school, Barnard College; and, after a cancer scare upon her graduation, she moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand for a decade and embarked on a healing odyssey throughout Asia. During that time she also led Thailand’s first 200-Hour Yoga Alliance teacher training and become one of Southeast Asia’s leading yoga instructors.
The creator of the world’s first Women’s Yoga Teacher Training, Sara’s work has uplifted the lives of tens of thousands of women worldwide.
