Vicki encourages her students to let go of their day and be present on their mats. Her practice focuses on connecting the mind and body by combining breath and movement. She guides powerful and energizing vinyasa flow sequences that are both challenging and fun. Her cues, demonstrations, and explanations allow students to feel supported and empowered while practicing. She offers modifications for all levels in order to help students find their edge and make the practice their own.
Vicki initially sought out yoga for stress relief and quickly fell in love with the practice. It is a way for her to channel her energy and find balance amidst a busy and active lifestyle. Yoga is the perfect compliment to her love for running and hiking. Along with the physical benefits, she also loves the positive spiritual awareness it brings.
Her words of wisdom for students: “Try to do everything in the world with a mind that lets go. If you let go a little you will have a little peace. If you let go a lot you will have a lot of peace. If you let go completely you will know complete peace and freedom. Your struggles with the world will have come to an end.” -Achaan Chah
