We all deserve a life that is abundant, complete with happiness, inner peace and fulfilling relationships. We all have the potential to create that life for ourselves, but often we find ourselves (unconsciously) trapped in old habit patterns (samskaras) that keep these things just out of reach. It’s painful.
“Upaya “, a Sanskrit term meaning “Skillful Ways” are practices based on yogic principles that create room for change by removing what is keeping you stuck.
Upaya is the path back to wholeness.
Join Richard for a fun and insightful afternoon of all levels yoga and an introduction to Upaya.

Richard fell in love with yoga more than 30 years ago. Over the past 17 years, he has had the pleasure of teaching thousands of students of all levels in many different venues. He has led teacher trainings at Yoga Now, a studio he founded in Keego Harbor, Michigan. In 2010 Richard took off on sabbatical and traveled the world for 5 years, living in Bali and Chiang Mai, Thailand, among other places. He now is proud to call Santa Barbara home and has brought his yogic knowledge and relaxed, fun style of teaching to Yoga Soup!
