with Lizzie Smith & Jazmin Ment
Saturday, August 31 / 2-5 pm
$35 in-advance, $40 day-of
Join Jazmin and Lizzie for an elemental afternoon of movement and meditative Tea. Through sharing their practices of Yoga and Tea ceremony with one another, Jazmin and Lizzie have found they complement and inform each other beautifully. We will begin our afternoon retreat with a blend of grounding flow, leading into restorative and seated meditation lead by Jazmin. Lizzie will serve tea in silence, weaving together movement, stillness, reflection, and connection. There will be small breaks and time for journaling and sharing as a group throughout the afternoon. We invite you to take this time to drop in, be quiet, and receive the magic that surrounds you.

Lizzie Smith is a student of Tea. She has been studying Tea Ceremony for 2 years under her teacher, Wu De, and the Tea Sage Hut based in Miaoli, Taiwan. Lizzie’s connection to tea and ceremony has been a lifelong exploration. She is a member of Global Tea Hut, a community of Tea lovers from around the world. She has been practicing yoga for 12 years and has found her Tea practice to compliment her yoga practice (and life) beautifully.
Jazmin Ment, when not teaching or practicing yoga, is also a surfer, former circus acrobat, and artist. Thanks to her mother, who insisted she do yoga, Jazmin is a yogini of many years. Her early introduction to yoga as a young child has taught her the importance of caring for the body and cultivating an open, clear mind. Jazmin’s curiosity and wonder about the body-mind connection keeps her coming back to her mat and her students with new perspective and an evolving appreciation for the magic of life and the exquisite human experience. Balanced between alignment and flow, insight and curiosity, Jazmin’s thoughtfully sequenced classes are a vessel to explore inner peace, deep listening, and ultimately, love.
