Yoga and Ayurveda, ancient sister sciences, will guide us to deepen our relationship to the healing elements of nature all around us.

This workshop will include yoga, meditation, self-healing practices and nourishing treatments.

Come balance heart and mind and connect to your innate ability to self-heal and stay cool this summer.

This mini-retreat is perfect for students and teachers interested in deepening their understanding of Ayurveda and Yoga.

Learn ways to balance the hot, sharp, light, moist, qualities of the summer months; cooling breath practices to keep your mind and body chilled out, grounding and stabilizing yoga to keep your body supported for summer fun, and marma point self massage to bring home practical ways to keep yourself in balance.

No prior Yoga or Ayurveda experience required. All props provided.

Taran Collis C-IAYT, AWC, RYT
Is a Certified Yoga Therapist from the International Alliance of Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda Wellness Counselor, and Capacitar International Trainer. Taran has been leading retreats and teaching self-care Ayurveda workshops for 12 years. The last 7 years she has been a Retreat Leader for La Casa de Maria in Montecito. Taran specializes in adapting yoga for all levels, including those with injuries, allowing everyone to be held in a safe and sacred space for their yoga practice.

Corinna Maharani is an Ayurvedic practitioner with 25 years of experience teaching and practicing Ayurveda in the USA and Germany. She graduated from one of the first Ayurveda programs held at the Maharishi International University, Iowa, in 1989. Corinna has owned and operates her own Ayurveda clinic in Santa Barbara since 2000. She has been the director of the Pancha Karma educational program, at the Kanyakumari Ayurveda & Yoga School, in Wisconsin, for 15 years. Her goal is to help deepen our understanding of this holistic science and help us apply these ancient principles in our modern times.
