Meditation is a practice to both focus and quiet the mind. However, many of us struggle to understand how to meditate and how to begin. In this workshop, we will explore accessible breathing and meditation techniques to both control and soften the unnecessary mental chatter, so we can feel spacious, clear, content and so we can connect to the truest parts of ourselves and our innate wisdom.
There will be some physical yoga and moving meditations to prepare the body for sitting, an introduction to various types of yogic breath practices, numerous guided meditations, as well as optional homework and a list of sources to continue your meditation practice on your own.
