Emily Benaron has over 13 years of yoga teaching experience. Her teaching blends together the traditions of yoga and yoga therapy with anatomy, modern movement science, neuroscience, and mindfulness practices. It is Emily’s intention to guide students to deepen sensory, psychological, and spiritual awareness, as well as develop a deeper understanding of the inner workings of the body and mind. Emily teaches holistic yoga practices that support multi- dimensional wellness balancing the nervous system, cultivating physical strength, resilience, and mobility while creating connection with one’s personal strengths, inner resources, and compassion for self and others.
Emily is a C-IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist, an E-RYT 500, a CAMTC Licensed Massage Practitioner, NASM Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist, a Certified Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist, a Certified Roll Model Practitioner, and a Certified Wellness Coach.
Emily’s classes are level 1 and 2 where students can build a solid foundation for their practice and also have room to grow. Each class is a unique blend of yoga, movement, meditation, and on Tuesday evenings includes a nourishing therapy ball massage. Mindful flow classes offer the opportunity to practice deeper awareness. Breath focused yoga and movement build strength and resilience in body, focus and calm the mind, and unwind the nervous system.
