with Lora Amber + Skyler Levenson of Wild Yes
Friday, February 7 / 3-5 PM
A monthly gathering focused on imperfect art making.
Join us for an afternoon of explorative play with your creative genius.
In our time together:
– a series of creative prompts will be offered.
– an opportunity to create in response to the prompts given will follow.
– the group will come back together with space to share.
– magic may occur.
Creativity takes surprising forms and there are many tools to access it.
This workshop is a place to come together with curiosity, to play with creative edges and delight in what ever is produced.
All artists and non-artists are welcome. Seriously.
Bring a journal and any art mediums that interest you– a variety of instruments and visual art supplies will also be provided.

Lora & Skyler believe that creativity is an integral process of being a healthy human. It is the balance between wild exploration and coming into focus that leads to inner expansion. Coming from different backgrounds of visual and musical arts, they have been exploring creativity as a vital source to live from rather than something associated with certain activities. In addition to private classes, Lora leads Figure Drawing and Skyler facilitates an explorative movement class, both at Yoga Soup. They have found that bringing together the right amount of wildness, silliness, play, and structure helps release perfectionism around art making and allows for authentic creation to flow.
Lora and Skyler are co-creators of Wild Yes, a guided backpacking program that leads people into nature experiences to connect with the wilderness and say YES to their creative genius.
This workshop is an extension of the Wild Yes backpacking program.
