“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”
— Dr. Seuss

* We are conditioned to seek the approval of others (parents, teachers, bosses, friends).

* We live in a culture in which we are constantly bombarded by messages about the RIGHT way to be.

* Our approval seeking behaviors become automatic and often invisible to us…until they fail.

Where do you seek approval?  Is approval from others a “gotta have” or a “nice to have”?
What if the approval of others was like whipped cream?  Nice…but extra?

Let’s pull back the curtain to really see & feel our relationship to approval/disapproval and perhaps, create a little more inner freedom around the desire to be “liked”.

Authentic Relating Games is comprised of fun and highly interactive group exercises that explore ways of seeing, connecting, and appreciating yourself and others at a deeper level.

Game Nights can be loud and raucous or quiet and intense. You may find yourself rolling with laughter or falling into sweet tears. Game Nights are fun and revealing, and sometimes risky!

By “authentic” we mean that there is no cookie-cutter mold for how you should be or what relating should look like. Everyone is a complete universe unto themselves, has a unique style, personality, and integrity that is perfectly them, and everyone is perfect and amazing as they are (including their belief that they aren’t).

By “relating” we mean being with other people…singles, couples, men, women, old, young. Bring a friend, bring your partner, or come solo!

By “games” we mean group exercises that demonstrate and explore authentic relating: getting to know yourself better while at the same time learning to see and appreciate more about everyone you connect with.

Our intention is to create a solid, strong container within which we can play and practice authentic relating. One way we do this is by asking people (you!) to make a choice in advance and commit (by registering and paying in advance).
