Adam Peot

Adam Peot

Adam’s uncontrollable draw to the yogic life began over 16 years ago. The introduction to this irreversible inner search came through one of the
Dalai Lama’s leading translators and students who was teaching a course on Tibetan Buddhism at UC Santa Barbara.
This began an insatiable thirst for knowledge and wisdom, culminating in months spent in various meditation retreats, including several months in Dharamsala, India.
Adam combines a decade of different practices with 390 hours of Yoga Alliance certification. After decades spent participating in violent sports (and the inevitable injuries), combined with an exhausting addiction to an all too common toxic lifestyle, the purifying, opening, grounding and healing aspects of a physical practice became non-negotiable.
When not in the studio, you may find Adam painting Buddhas, channeling his inner Spanish guitarist or wandering through the forest looking for Gnomes.
“No matter how long the room has been dark, an hour or a million years, the moment the lamp of awareness is lit, the entire room becomes luminous. You are that luminosity. You are that clear light”
— Tenzin Wangal Rinpoche
